The Heart Behind Activate God
In 2022, Habibat T. Shittu founded Activate God, an interfaith initiative dedicated to exploring religion, spirituality, and life lessons, where she shares daily prayers and hosts the Activate God Podcast. Through this, she has garnered over 30K followers across social media platforms.
While Habibat is Muslim, she has always been deeply curious about the ways people seek meaning, connection, and the divine across different traditions. She has spent years learning about various religions and the intersections between faith, culture, and spirituality, and has attended a wide range of worship spaces with openness and respect. Through her lived experiences, formal education, and ongoing conversations with loved ones and community members, she has come to appreciate both the shared values and the unique expressions that shape spiritual life. Habibat hopes Activate God can serve as a welcoming, thoughtful space for people curious, questioning, or deeply rooted in their beliefs to explore diverse religious traditions and spiritual practices—fostering understanding, reflection, and connection across differences.
